Pathé has recently inaugurated its new headquarters and cinema complex on Boulevard des Capucines in Paris. The entire architectural renovation—comprising both the seven-screen multiplex and the company’s new operational offices—was entrusted to the Renzo Piano Building Workshop - RPBW.
Located on the fourth and fifth floors of a historic building that once hosted Paramount’s offices in the 1920s, the new workspaces reflect a tailored interior design project within a broader renovation plan. In this context, UniFor was selected to supply bespoke furniture solutions and integrated systems for the workplace.
The architecture harmoniously balances historical legacy and contemporary clarity, achieved through a refined palette of materials and colours: glass and steel meet stone and wood, while transparent surfaces and natural tones are counterbalanced by vibrant orange and red accents.
This expressive dialogue is echoed on the façade, where exposed stone and large glazed openings lend lightness and brightness to the entire structure.
In collaboration with RPBW, UniFor developed and supplied custom furnishings for the Pathé offices, addressing complex design and technical requirements.
Key elements include: RP partition walls – design by Renzo Piano: over 800 m² in various configurations, including single and double glass, solid panels, and hinged doors.
- Flipper workstations – design by Pagani & Perversi: available in standard and customised versions, configured for two or four users.
- Moodway meeting tables – design by Fernando Urquijo: round and oval formats, up to 360 × 180 cm, for executive and meeting rooms.
- S200 – height-adjustable tables

The spatial layout prioritises efficiency and usability. Flipper desks, with oak tops and integrated cable management, provide clean, uncluttered work surfaces.
Moodway tables introduce versatility for both informal and formal meetings. RP partition walls, crafted in aluminium, define reserved spaces, ensuring both visual and acoustic privacy. Satin-finish glass elements contribute to a functional yet luminous work atmosphere.
UniFor’s choice of materials and finishes expresses a commitment to quality and contemporaneity: light tones and airy structures alternate with bold details—orange rugs and red seat accents—creating a coherent visual identity aligned with the architectural vision.
The Pathé Palace project exemplifies UniFor’s capacity to interpret the client’s needs with precision, integrating design and function within a setting of high cultural and historical significance.
