AMATA BELLEZZA Flowers and Visions. Photographs
A key, very reserved figure in the world of Italian photography, Mario Carrieri gathers the results of years of work in the cycle of images in this exhibition.
In his solitary photographic research on “Flowers and Visions,” in what might be erroneously described as “still lifes,” he sets out to interpret the tragic character of human existence, presenting on his own imaginary visual stage a “Whole” that is dramatically visionary and pantheistic, almost theatrical, as if suspended on the thread of a light so remote as to seem to be frozen outside of time.
In his photographs, the actors in this drama are in fact simply flowers and their infinite, perishable beauty. Flowers and beauty that flow in the delirious river of a universal nothingness, shattered by their own suffering.
The exhibition includes very large works shown in public for the first time, in a big space of the Milan Triennale, offering viewers a key of interpretation of extreme technical prowess and intensity.

UniFor will take part at WORKSPACE, the largest commercial interior design event in the Middle East. The which will take place in Dubai from 17th to 10th September.
This year WORKSPACE will also be part of Middle East Design and Hospitality Week (MEDHW), the biggest celebration of design and hospitality in the Region.

New Opening - UniFor Showroom Paris
On the occasion of its 50th anniversary, UniFor is restoring and renewing the historic showroom of its French branch, designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa in 1979. The newly renovated spaces has been inaugurated during Paris Design Week, in celebration of both UniFor’s first 50 years - the history of which is illustrated in a prestigious book published by Skira, “UniFor. A Commitment to Architecture” - and its 40 years on the French market at its historic and prestigious Paris location on Rue des Saint-Peres. It was 1978 when the Molteni family founded UniFor France and entrusted Afra and Tobia Scarpa with the task of transforming the former residential apartment at 6 Rue des Saints-Pères into spaces suitable for receiving its clients and presenting the UniFor collection. The showroom was launched the following year. Lights on Smart Working
A new installation curated by Ron Gilad and featuring Touch Down Unit for the windows dressing of the UniFor Showroom in Milan, in Corso Matteotti 14.
The historic flagship store, designed in 1989 by Afra and Tobia Scarpa, continues to be a point of reference and thanks to this installation it is once again the most efficient space to display the latest innovations.
Three Touch Down Units - the innovative autonomous workstation designed in collaboration with Studio Klass and presented during the Milan Design Week at Palazzo di Brera on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Company - are positioned on the platform in correspondence with the window.
Around them are recognizable archetypes of furniture: a chair, a stool, a wardrobe, a sofa, reduced to pure geometric lines, which reveal in the dark, thanks to a special blue and orange fluorescent paint, unexpected plays of light.
An abstract configuration of a contemporary work environment that establishes, in the distinctive sign of the Israeli designer, a connection between the idea and design of industry and confirms the tradition of the UniFor windows, which over the time have become a means of communicating a precise company identity, a confirmation of the circular prophecy made by Gio Ponti on the eve of the birth of industrial design: if in those days the world of art was in love with industry, now it is industry that has declared its love for art.
