UniFor is pleased to take part in the 60th Biennale Arte 2024, curated by Adriano Pedrosa, entitled 'Stranieri Ovunque - Foreigners Everywhere', as a technical sponsor in the production of the British Council commission for the British Pavilion 2024, Listening All Night To The Rain.
UniFor returns to Venice as a supporter of the British Council, following its participation in the 14th Biennale Architettura curated by Rem Koolhaas and its support of the 18th Biennale Architettura curated by Lesley Lokko.
Representing Great Britain in Venice for the 2024 Biennale Arte is British-Ghanaian artist and filmmaker John Akomfrah. Through his exhibition Listening All Night To The Rain, Akomfrah delves into themes of memory, migration, racial injustice, and climate change. The multimedia installation encourages visitors to experience the neoclassical building of the British Pavilion in a new way.
By producing the installation for John Akomfrah's Listening All Night To The Rain, UniFor reaffirms its commitment to the project of culture.
