Electrical Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

UniFor S.p.A., part of the Molteni Group, is an internationally recognized company with strong national roots, specializing in technical solutions for architecture. The company develops furnishing systems designed to interpret the diverse design requirements of contemporary workplaces through simple, functional and effective solutions.

For our headquarters in Turate (CO), Italy, we are looking for an:

Electrical Maintenance Technician

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of electrical systems and production machinery, guaranteeing operational continuity, safety and compliance with quality standards within an industrial manufacturing environment.

Main Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine, extraordinary and preventive electrical maintenance on systems and machinery, including woodworking lines, CNC machines, edge banding machines, presses, painting systems and automated warehouses.
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical, electronic and automation-related faults.
  • Carrying out urgent maintenance interventions to minimize machine downtime.
  • Performing periodic checks on electrical systems, substations and distribution panels.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance and production teams to optimize plant and machinery performance.
  • Working on PLCs and automation systems for troubleshooting and basic modifications.
  • Supporting the installation and testing of new systems or machinery.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, including Italian Legislative Decree 81/08, and company procedures.
  • Preparing maintenance reports and technical documentation.
  • Proposing improvement actions to increase the efficiency and reliability of systems and equipment.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Technical diploma or vocational qualification in electrical, mechanical or automation-related fields.
  • Previous experience in similar roles within industrial or manufacturing environments is preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Good knowledge of electrical diagrams and control panels.
  • PES/PAV certification.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance and industrial automation.
  • Ability to work on PLCs and automation systems for diagnostic and troubleshooting activities.

Soft Skills

  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude.
  • Accuracy, reliability and proactivity.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different company departments.
  • Strong focus on safety, quality and operational continuity.

Compensation

Indicative gross annual salary: €30,000 – €35,000, depending on experience and skills.
