A large table and closed bookcase define the office according to Alvaro Siza.

A simple and functional workspace created by individual furnishing elements that can be composed as required. An unmistakable style interpreted with formal rigor, skilled use of materials and close attention to detail. A homelike setting in which to work. Built with simple compositional elements, the table consists of a thin wood top, cantilevered over a slender sawhorse structure in tubular aluminum, faced in the same wood as the top, and legs in solid wood with rounded edges.

"Architects don’t invent anything; they transform reality."
